[ KNEE BRACE DESIGN ]

The purpose of this 12-week project is for training on how to create a product that has never designed before by mixing two types of uncorrelated elements together. The most interesting and challenging part of this project is to deeply understand the design language of Tesla and translate its design elements to create a knee brace which is using for trail running.

Trail Running is a sport that combines running with hiking over trails. The most popular places, which people prefer to run, are mountains and beaches. However, there is a totally different situation when people run in these two places. Running on a mountain, there is lots of stone, uphill, and downhill. When people run on a beach, the ground is soft. It is a little bit difficult to run on a beach than a mountain because of sand.

Tesla is one of the most famous brands in the electric cars industry. It produces electric cars, electric vehicle powertrain components, and battery products. The features of Tesla are not only electric vehicle technology, but also aesthetic physical form. The design strategy of it is focusing on giving people a futuristic attitude and a feeling of low key. For example, the curvy lines of Tesla

are smooth but not dramatic.
